Organising Committee

The Committee for the International Antiques Fair is made up of the Florence City Council, the Florence Chamber of Commerce (CCIAA), the Florence Tourism Agency (APT), the Union of the Antiquarians of Florence and Province (Sindacato degli Antiquari di Firenze e Provincia), the Italian Antiquarians Association (Associazione Antiquari d’Italia) and the Association of the Friends of the Florence International Antiques Fair (Associazione Amici della Biennale dell’Antiquariato di Firenze).

Membership of the Committee is also open to other Bodies and Associations who are particularly interested in the development of the activities of the Fair, upon either invitation or request, subject to decision in each case by the Steering Committee.

The Bodies of the Committee for the Florence International Antiques Fair are:
- the Chairman;
- the Steering Committee;
- the Secretary General;
- the Finance Committee

The members of the Steering Committee, representatives of Bodies or Associations, remain in office for the duration of their representation; members who are co-opted, pursuant to paragraph 2 of article 2 and paragraph 2 of article 7, remain in office for 4 years and may be reconfirmed.

The Secretary General is responsible for the co-ordination of the entire organisation in every detail, and implements all initiatives geared to rendering efficacious the task of the various decision-making, consultative and technical organs of the Fair.
